The Agricultural Technical School of Pyhra near the regional capital of Sankt Pölten was founded in 1913 by the old-Austrian
industrialist Dr. Carl Kupelwieser, the owner of the former Kyrnberg estate. This estate represents the foundation of the
extensive school grounds (approx. 162 ha). In addition to the necessary theoretical lessons, great emphasis is put on practical
training. Students are taught how to run an economically successful business and how to produce and sell in a market-oriented
manner. Social competence, the ability to work in teams and a sense of tradition are integral parts of the training as well.
Professional training requires a professional infrastructure. Therefore, it was decided to install an H2 hygienic kitchen from METAGRO. The differently powder-coated and coloured areas (RAL 5007, 6000, 1012 and 3002) make it easier for students to find particular cooking utensils in the school kitchen. Due to the cabinets’ wall-mounted design, floor cleaning is less complicated and more hygienic. It is also worth mentioning the integrated household electric stove and the Impala granite worktops.
