Environment & Sustainability


Photovoltaic Energy – Sustainable Power from the Sun


More than 500 m² of our roof area is now used for our photovoltaic system. This enables us to generate clean electricity – completely silently and without emissions – using the power of the sun. Acting sustainably is essential to us as a company, and we are pleased to be able to cover part of our electricity needs through self-produced renewable energy.
Visitors and customers can also charge their electric vehicles at any time at one of our charging stations using 100% green power.

Regional Production Is Sustainable Production


We manufacture exclusively at a single location, ensuring the shortest possible internal transport routes. This allows us to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible. In addition, working with partner companies from the region reduces transport distances and therefore helps to minimise emissions.
 

Stainless Steel – A Fully Recyclable Material
 

There is a good reason why stainless steel is the core material in our production: it is exceptionally durable and timeless. A prime example is our stainless-steel kitchen furniture, which reliably serves for decades and is often passed on from one generation to the next.
And even when one of our stainless-steel products eventually reaches the end of its life cycle or is simply replaced, it can be recycled almost indefinitely. The stainless steel we source contains a recycling content of around 80%, and all off-cuts and scrap generated in our production process are returned to the recycling loop.

Honey from Our Own Company Grounds


One thing is clear: a world without bees is hard to imagine. These small insects pollinate around 80% of our cultivated and wild plants and are therefore an essential part of our biodiversity.
Since 2021, we have been hosting new residents on our company premises: our own beehive, located next to our large wildflower meadow at the edge of the car park. In this way, we contribute to pollination and biodiversity protection. And as an added bonus, our colleagues receive a jar of our own company honey as a Christmas gift each year.
