The renaissance castle "Schloss Rosenau", built in 1593 in the west of Zwettl (Waldviertel), was reconstructed in Baroque
style during the 18th century, receiving a magnificent façade. Since 1964, the property has been owned by Lower Austria’s Housing Association,
since 1999, Margit Zulehner has been renting the Schlosshotel. The castle’s successful tenant is not only trying to preserve
the property entrusted to her, but also to continue shaping and conserving it for the future. In order for her to be able
to carry on spoiling her guests with culinary delights, not only excellently trained staff, but also an extraordinary kitchen
is needed.
