For more than 100 years, the Schillerhof has been an integral part of Graz’s gastronomic scene. Originally opened in 1900
as a Viennese-style coffee house, it later evolved into a bar that achieved cult status over the decades.
In 2018, Martin Auer took over the legendary establishment and, with great attention to detail and a strong focus on culinary quality, transformed it into a café that delights guests with freshly baked focaccia, hot coffee and organic pastries. The interior of the “new” Schillerhof features a distinctly modern design approach. Black accents combined with copper elements create a clean, contemporary and at the same time welcoming atmosphere. We are proud that METAGRO, together with our partner Pammer, was commissioned to manufacture various copper panels for the tables and work surfaces of the Schillerhof.
