Baxter Austria is the Austrian subsidiary of Baxter International, a globally operating US company active in the pharmaceutical and medical technology sectors. Austria is Baxter’s largest
site worldwide and also its largest research location for Baxter BioScience. Vaccines against tick-borne encephalitis (TBE),
various influenza strains and meningococcal diseases are produced here.
For many years, METAGRO’s specialists have been planning, manufacturing and delivering professional solutions for Baxter. In laboratory environments, hygiene is of paramount importance, and this was also the key requirement for the furniture used in both laboratory and pharmaceutical production areas.
Drawer dimensions were precisely adapted to the respective machine components. Depending on the department, either bow handles or recessed handle profiles were installed. In the laboratory areas, Corian worktops were selected. All furniture was manufactured and installed with millimetre precision to meet the stringent requirements of the facility.
