METAGRO expands bending capabilities with new TruBend 5130 press brake

Blog

At METAGRO, we continuously invest in modern technologies to meet our customers’ requirements with the highest levels of precision, efficiency and flexibility. Alongside our strong craftsmanship, a state-of-the-art machinery fleet forms the second key pillar of our capabilities.
At the beginning of 2025, we commissioned a new press brake: the TruBend 5130 from TRUMPF – a high-quality machine manufactured in Austria that significantly expands our production capabilities.

Advanced bending technology for demanding applications
With a press force of 130 tonnes and a maximum bending length of 3,230 mm, the new TruBend 5130 can be used across a wide range of product groups and industries. Above all, it impresses with a variety of advanced technical features:
  • 6-axis backgauge for complex components
  • 3D visualisation for best operator guidance
  • ACB Laser angle measurement system for maximum bending accuracy
  • QR code recognition system for recurring components
  • Second display unit directly at the machine
  • Bending aids providing ergonomic support for operators at the press brake
The TruTops Boost software enables external programming at a dedicated programming workstation – an advantage we can use with our existing TRUMPF press brakes. This allows us to significantly reduce machine downtime and sustainably optimise production processes.

Efficiency meets regional production
The TruBend 5130 was manufactured in Upper Austria, where the responsible technical service team is also based. The production location Austria not only stands for the highest quality standards but also ensures short and environmentally friendly transport routes. Another benefit is the excellent availability and reliability in terms of service and maintenance.
